Sculpting Sites
-
Sculpting Sites represents a component of our company’s training methodology PRISM Work. It combines our research on somatic awareness and polysensory attunement practices to a space alongside movement composition principles of time and space. This dynamic movement-based workshop provides a shared vocabulary of movement for participants to become aware of themselves, to interact intuitively with space, time, each other and to expand their awareness and imagination. Each session ends with an opportunity to improvise and experiment with the new vocabulary gained and compose evocative and playful movement vignettes.
Using Sculpting Sites as both an improvisational framework and a method of self-awareness and reflexivity this workshop offers a chance to engage deeply with our body, our environment and all the visible and invisible elements around us to understand how every we are being affected and acted upon, before we have even begun to act. -
